This week, I received some exciting information from Good Hope Store proprietor and Poppy Festival organizer Wade Edmondson about the annual Festival and Metric Century. An excellent video has been put together about the history of the Poppy Lady, Moina Michael, and the development of the red poppy as a symbol of support for our military veterans.

- The 16th Annual Athens to Savannah Double Century. AthSav2017 has had a great early registration turnout.
