On another note, as many of you know, at the end of this month, I am stepping aside from my role as executive director at the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens. I've had a wonderful five years, working with great people to provide shelter, services, and hope for homeless families with children in our area. Next year, I'd like to continue my involvement by gathering a group of "Biker Boyz and Biker Girlz" to pick up a host week in November. That means we'll be cooking dinners, providing evening and overnight hosting, and driving the IHNA van to get our families to work and school. We have a hosting site, upstairs from the IHNA day center on West Hancock Avenue. I'll be in touch with folks soon about this, but I know that our great-hearted group will be able and ready to serve those in need. Stay tuned, I'm very excited about this.
Getting back to the riding schedule, Nitty Gritty continues to provide excellent options every week. Check the schedules on the 'Current' and 'Coming Soon' pages, and c'mon out and ride with us, especially while the weather is so unseasonably warm.
See you out there, riding friends!
